Deja vu. I seem to remember you trot this argument out every time a big football competition comes around. The reason England get all the tabloid inches are as follows: The major newspapers in the UK are based in London, England. England has the biggest population of all the UK home countries & therefore target readship. England has the best football team of all the UK home countries, i.e. consistently qualifying for major championships. England's players are household names, not only in this country, but around the world and whatever you say or think, people do want to read about them. Many people outside Wales, NI or Scotland would struggle to name a single player from any of those teams. Enjoy your summer next year supporting England!
