Pabs - bit of a difference in budget. The official 360 Wireless is ~£50+ and Powerline would be maybe £80+, vs the £25 access point.
I hear ya Aragorn, but for me (a fellow gamer), I would spare no expense at getting the best possible connection for games like MW2 etc.

Also you could buy a very long ethernet lead, for about 15 quid, I got a 30 metre one recently from a local computer shop, and just get your partner to dig a little trench in the garden and sink it a couple of inches deep.

A fair bit of work I know but still a possibility.

I just hate wireless connections for gaming.
