Once on that page select WAS Setup on the left hand side. In the middle box you can untick the Respond to Ping on Internet Port.
Hope this helps as I had to find out the hard way after getting my router as part of the trial.

hi, i have just read ur info regarding netgear router problem.
i have also recived a netgear wireless router from virgin media, and i have conected it to my pc with a wire cause my pc is not wireless enables. anyways i have wlan on my mobile which when i search for it the wlan shows the other wlan netwarks around my flat but my one does not show on it.
sometimes since i have got my wireless router it came on few times by itself and i was able to brouse the net on my mobile using the netgear that i have. but now it went all missing again. could you please help me to sort this out.
