That doesn't preclude the possibility that the text on the website could be the result of cut and paste of two quotes without reading how the 2nd quote started. The fact that the text is in two separate paragraphs, in itself shows a change of subject.
But they are not in two separate paragraphs, they are in the same paragraph. In fact, the two concepts of colour and gender are in the same sentence.
