Brown's jumped on the migration bandwagon now. After years of shouting down and branding as racist xenophobes anyone who raised an objection, no matter how well reasoned, he and his spinners have concluded it's time to show how sensitive and understanding they are of these concerns and how they're going to get it right next time... After the election that is of course......

Their apologies for past mistakes ought to fall on deaf ears, they're just part of yet another cynical pre-election campaign of spin, deceit and false promises. They've had 12 years to get this matter right! It took them almost a decade to determine that the Home Office was not fit for purpose and so far as I can see very little has changed. They talk tough and sound sincere but we've seen it all too many times before and they're taking us for fools.
