That's why your super soaraway Sun has spent three days (count 'em) making headline news out of a spelling mistake and why this forum has almost one thread per day from the Daily Mail on issues of State interference or race relations issues. These are what's known as dog-whistle campaigns, designed to rile up anyone who has a tendency to be riled up by such issues.
For the generally uneducated readership of the Sun, it's about disrespect innit. That Brown disrespectin our boys or summink. And for the blinkered little Englanders who prefer the Wail, it's poltical correctness gone mad, 1984 come true, etc etc etc.
