There is hope for everyone out there. I booked two rooms by two separate booking with roomsnet for Majorca arriving in October. I cancelled the bookings in September when I heard the problems people were having. Within 10 days I received a refund for the most expensive room. When I contacted them for the other refund they told me that the room was still booked and confirmed with the hotel. I contacted the hotel every day and told the same each time there was no room booked. I kept onto roomsnet and they would email me and phone me saying the same thing the room is booked. Then two days before I was due to travel I received a fax from the hotel confirming the room had been booked and paid for. When I arrived there last week (expecting them to tell me there was no room) I had no trouble in checking in. I have been one of lucky ones, however it did cost me extra £60.00 on top of the refund received to re-book the other room with another company and the cost of daily telephone calls to hotel.
