Grr, internet keeps cutting out.

Got a bit of an odd problem, started this morning when I got up

I noticed the internet was not accessible and I couldn't access the cable modem via the 100.1 address, but I could access the router

Turning the whole lot off for 2 minutes, restarting it and all was fine, until about 5 minutes ago when the same thing happened again

I can access the router, but not the cable modem

So I released/renewed the DHCP IP via the router and it got the IP ok and I could access the internet again

Is it possible the router is overheating? or somehow losing connection to the router?

It's the shiny black DLink one if that helps (DIR-615)

Ironically I had this router replaced last week as the engineer deemed it defective (The first one to go wrong, according to him heh

The only thing that shows in my error log on the CModem is
