In the address bar at the top of your computer (the one your connected to the virgin network on) type, 192.168.100.1 then hit return, if you are prompted for a password and user name use "root" for both, without the speech marks obviously.

this should then show you your modem upstream and downstream power levels, and importantly your SNR in dB. this is the info you want to make a note off and post back on this forum.

if you post them in a fresh thread or in this one if your not sure, I,m sure someone will have a look at the levels and tell you if you need an engineer or not.

If you get stuck just google how to read virgin media modem power levels or something like that and you should be able to find some more info.
