But Sky+ does exactly the same thing. It was continuously clashing, when I had it. But I do agree the Sky+ EPG was a bit smoother. But V+ has many advantages over Sky. Picture-in-picture, the programme being stored in the buffer when you are viewing the EPG etc. and the eighty hours of disc capacity, are just a few.

I have problems with clashing, with Audio Description sound on C4HD , with the planner having films shown at the wrong time...(Thank goodness I have reconnected my sky box so I can check when films actually start! ) and I have never missed so many starts and ends of programmes before.

Then there must be something you are not doing quite right, because it is a rare problem the Flyboy household.

Unfortunately I am stuck with VM for another 10 months,3 weeks and 4 days so I suppose I will have to get used to what I consider now to be a totally inferior technology ....why oh why did I do it???...I could just have had the broadband and phone and would have been very happy

I am sure you will find, over those months, how much better V+ is over Sky+. I was sceptical at first, but now I wouldn't dream of going back.

Oh and by the way I do not work for Sky, I just expect technology to work properly before it is rolled out to paying customers.

A pity Sky didn't do that either.
