I got my welcome pack today confirming my install date for Saturday.

All I can say is, could Virgin make the bill any more confusing?

I'm simply on the XXL broadband, XL TV, XL phone with a V+ box and an extra standard box.

I got the installation for £49
The £20 for my Broadband was waved as I get £20 credited to the account for taking all three services, so they used that.

I appreciate under my bill it says:

If you have subscribed to one of our special offers it will not be shown here, however you will be billed at the appropriate discounted rate and this will show on your bill

which I presume it means that I shouldn't worry about it saying I have to pay £150 install when I only paid £49, but the general appearance is a mess.

Quite simply, for the first 2 months I should be paying £47
Then I'm onto my normal monthly payment of £71

Very very confusing. For example the two entries for 2 months triple offer total £47 which is what I've been told I'd be charged for the first 2 months, so why is £47 being credited? surely £24 should be credited as my normal monthly payment of £71 minus the £47 I'll be paying leaves £24.

Or is it simply that I'm actually paying £47.50 a month for 2 months hence that leaves £23.50 a month to be credited which equals this £47?

If I add it all up and take off the credits, it comes to £123. I don't understand where this figure comes from at all. If I take the £101 off my £150 V+ install as I'm only paying £49, that still leaves £22.

I shall await my first bill with interest.

Edit: Out of interest, will they take money out of my account in the next few days or will I get billed double at the end of my first month?
