We have just returned today from Spain, and have had similar experience to everyone else, turned up at hotel only to find Roomsnet had not paid the intermediary firm (in this case Jumbo tours). Very frustrating as we could not get hold of anyone to speak to. We did get an e-mail promising a refund in 15 days althogh another person in our party who complained a day later was told 4 to 6 weeks. The optimist in me would like to believe Roomsnet as we have booked with them 3 times before and not had a problem, and some people have said they have got a refund.

However as a further safe guard I would like some more detail of the company.

A quick search on 192.com says a director and secretary resigned in July, then replacements found, but the last entry suggest a director and secretary resigned again. Trouble is 192 want £18 for each report. So before throwing good money after bad, does anyone know who the current directors are as this to me seems the most expedient way of getting a refund as once you have a name, you can get a personal address and then a phone number. 192.com have their address as 2nd floor, 45 Craven Road, Paddington, London, W2 3BX, tel 020 74028192.

If anyone can provide further detail it would be much appreciated as it is rather frustrating that all the contact details on their website that would allow you to actaully speak to someone to find out what is going on do not work.
