Yep, going through the credit card company is probably simpler than trying to persuade your insurance company to handle it. The credit card company, having given you a refund (which they have to, by law, because the Consumer Credit Act 1974 makes them jointly liable with the supplier for delivery of whatever services you've paid for) will then go to the supplier to get their money back. The more people who do this, the more pressure Roomsnet is going to come under.
