Re: If I create restore discs for my laptop then delete the restore partition...

My HP doesnt restore partitions when doing a factory reset.

Personally I wouldnt remove\delete the restore partition, there only a few GB and if your disc's go for a walk\damaged you'll have to go through the rigmarole of getting restore disc's from Sony which would be a PITA.
