What Mariner should have done, was booked the first bad tackle and there were plenty, especially when Vidic smacked a Spurs player round the face, and he got away with it.

ok ......................... so spurs were perfect and did absolutely nothing wrong , and i think if Vidic had 'smacked' him around the face he would have been sent off
and if not he will definately get banned , just watch the game and realize you were outplayed
