You may even need to reapply the thermal paste on the CPU, but this requires taking the laptop half apart and would void any warranty.

CPU can easily reach 80*c with no ill effects.
GPU can easily reach 90-100*c with no ill effects.
HD on laptops can reach 40-50*c but there is nothing you can do about that. Best keeping it below 30*c IF you can.
