"Yelp" for the iPhone uses the GPS to give info on nearby bars, restaurants, etc., along with reviews & stuff.
The latest version also has a hidden augmented reality (AR) feature, for the 3GS only...

I've just installed it, & activated the AR "Monocle". Not tried it yet though.
