Bt adsl2+

I'm on Virgin 50Mb service because I was getting very slow speeds on BT Broadband. At the time they stated that I could get 6Mbps on normal ADSL. I live within spitting distance of the exchange. However during the night I would get between 2 and 2.5Mbps and during the evening about 250-300kbps. Very slow for the money

So off I went to virgin and was at first on the 20Mbps service, jebus it was fast. Now on the 50Mb.

So what makes me laugh is the BT TV ads going on about the new 20Meg ADSL service they are rolling out. Using the Post Code checker I get this...

Quote:
Your exchange is ADSL enabled, and our initial check on your postcode indicates that your line should be able to have an ADSL broadband service that provides a fixed line rate up to 2Mbps.

Our check also indicates that your line currently supports a potential ADSL Max broadband line rate of 6Mbps or greater.

Our check also indicates that your line currently supports a potential ADSL2+ broadband line rate of 7Mbps or greater.

Thank you for your interest.
7meg on ADSL2+ if im interested, yeah right
