the problem is we have too many mediocre players. We have too many players who are only good enough, or sometimes not good enough, to play against Hull and Birmingham and Fulham.

O'Shea had a great first season but has never once ever got close to playing like that ever again. He is rubbish in every position he plays and no where near good enough for us. Neither is Park and he's been with is for about 4 years.

Nani and Ronaldo had similar first seasons. Give them a ball in training and they can do keepie uppies all day long but neither of them could pay well in the prem, delivery a decent ball into the box, beat a man etc . Ronaldo adapted and learnt what needs to be done, Nani is no where near having any idea how to play football
