You're missing my point - it's not just the results but also the performances - we should have destroyed Birmingham on saturday. Burnley should have lost at least 2-nil. We have a team which is using players in their mid-30s alongside unproven talent. Granted when Rio and Vidic return our defence will be a lot better but up front we've only got one real proven goalscorer and SAF seems to think that's enough - well no it's not. Yes he's the most successful manager in the country but the faith he's put in donkey has not been repaid. Owen cannot be considered reliable yet. As I said earlier, if Rooney takes a long term hit then I'll be surprised if we finish in the top 2.
