Help configure my modem.router to work as an access point!

I have virgin broadband and a Belkin Wireless G Modem Router F5d7232-4.
I recently had this configured as a wireless access point - as this was the only way I could get wireless internet to work. I updated the firmware and restored factory defaults on the modem/router and now cannot find how to configure the modem/router to work as an access point!

Can anyone help?

I believe using it as an access point is the only way to get this product to work with the virgin modem - if this is not the case I would love to know how to get it to work as proper wireless router so I can have mutliple connects!

Thanks
