Unless you think of Jack Sparrow when you think of a pirate then you would never see one as noble anyway would you? When I think of a pirate they are always blood thirsty barbaric and murderous.
As far as piracy in the copyright sense is concerned well I have no respect for the huge multi billion dollar corporations and there money grabbing "oh you are stealing off the artist" as they steal a majority percentage off the artist spending millions on trying to stop this theft instead of charging a reasonable price for the product in the first place. You only have to look at the compilation albums going for £10 to £15 a shot all with the same tracks to see who the thieves really are
