call an election
even if he did think he was favourite.
Having, probably, been a "teachers pet", Monitor, prefect or whatever at school, you know, one of them Kids the rest of the class despises, he would
instinctively know he would not be anyones
favourite.
I don't take part in opinion polls but if I did I would lie my socks off. That way the ******* marketeers who interpret them might skew the results to show a truer picture than the lies they usually come up with
