I didn't realise C4 put so little effort into HD. What a poor show. They can't even be bothered to film Dispatches in HD!

If you're buying one JUST for this new handful of channels, I'd say no, but an HDTV should be used for many more things.
Do you have an Xbox 360 or a PS3? Or an Apple TV? And of course a blu-ray player will transform how you appreciate movies. Watching a good blu-ray in full 1080p with lossless audio coming through your 5.1 or 7.1 AV amp is astounding stuff.
