No you are right to be frustrated. I'm sure we all are. Over the past few weeks in particular there have been a very large number of repeat questions, many of them in close proximity to the answer!
May I suggest ...
Before posting a question:-
Read post number one, Media Boy's big listing, in it's entirety or use your browser find facility to look for your topic of interest.
Get up a half an hour earlier and read all the posts since you last checked in.
Use the Thread Search facility to look for your topic of interest.
When answering a repeat question, rather than repeating the answer:-
Insert a link to post number one.
Insert a link to the answer.
Insert a link to my suggestions.
Okay. It's a bit more time-consuming and you are doing the searching on behalf of the question-poster but at least you won't run the risk of posting a partial or ambiguous answer that will generate even more questions.
Just a thought or two.
