Hmmm, wonder why i am stuck at 3 Mb then.
i have restarted the modem and computer and wireless router umpteen times!
i must be doing something daft.
back on the phone to VM tonight!

i wonder if its because i am using my old laptop at home (7 year old Apple Powerbook).
i will take my newer MacBook Pro home tonight and see if it is any better.
Maybe the old lappy has an ancient airport card or something slowing the wireless broadband down??
it seems like the ntl 250 modem is good for 10-20 or even 40Mb!!
