Where did you find this testing info. on Wiki.? I couldn't find it with Google.
IMHO, to avoid repeated "I can't see these, how do you?" posts, we should prefix or append a brief statement to any "now testing at a screen near you" posts which points out that you have to have the right equipment, be in the right area and have access to the engineering menus (or whatever the criteria are) in order to see them.
A link to a more comprehensive explanation would suffice.
I've got a standard Pace Di4000-N V Box on the Bromley platform in an ex-C&W/ex-NTL area so I'm lucky to get a picture at all let alone see any special test transmissions.
I just wait patiently and enjoy what I already have.
<OT> Short of things to watch? If your TV has the facility to program a channel as Colour System: SECAM, Sound System: DK, Frequency: 463MHz (channel S41) then the next time a Soyuz launches, plug an aerial in and point it at the sky. You may get something from the 10Watt TV transmitter on board. I've had my TV set up for months but haven't tried it out in earnest yet. Actually, even with PAL-I you should get a monochrome picture with no sound.
