I can hardly believe this!!! I was just watching on "yesterday" the last tommy which was filmed in 2004, and then there was eight British "tommy" WW1 survivors.
The program showed Harry returning to the battlefields of Passchendale for the first time in nearly ninety years, and as the program ended there was only two left.
RIP Harry, in the end you truly were the last tommy atkins.

Claude was in the above program this morning Kymmy, he served in the RN as a spotter aircraft recoverer, he was too young to be in the army, after the war in 1926 he emigrated to Perth, Australia.
Claude wasn't mentioned as the program finished as one who had died since filming, but this was 2004.
