re: The last one :( - RIP to all who fought in the Great War

Not sure if Frank Buckles and Jack Babcock is still alive who are the last American & Canadian WW1 vets. No French, German, NZ or Italian left.

Anyone know if Claude Choules (born in the UK) is still alive or what country he fought for?

Claude Choules (108) confirmed as still alive, fought for Britain and now an Aussie.
Frank Buckles (108) also confirmed still living in Virginia USA
Jack Babcock is still alive in Canada and celebrated his 109th Birthday on the 23rd of this month.

I think they're the last now
