Well I for one hope that this newspaper report isn't accurate.

I assume that the reason the majority of people will be contacting the centre is because think they, or a member of their family, have Swine Flu. If they are not reassured by, or helped by, the people manning the emergency swine flu call centres it will defeat the object of the centres as I am sure that the public will feel they have to double check with their GPs or go into A & E where they can be seen by a Doctor. I dread to think how the surgeries or hospitals could hope to function if they are swamped in such a way.

If I am unfortunate enough to have to contact the emergency centre I want Russ to answer the phone please.
