Weird slowdown of the web caused by Skype

After rebuilding my PC the other week it's of course been running quite fast in it's current uncluttered state (probably won't last for long)

Anyway I suddenly had a slowdown on IE8 and thought I might have a redirect going on somewhere...

Turns out it the new Beta of Skype that loads a plugin that scans each webpage for telephone numbers and converts them into clickable skype links, so watch out anyone thinking of installing Skype 4.1 and notice a slowdown that'll be the cause...

You can tun it off either in options or directly in IE8's Manage Add-Ons
