I'd rather have Berbatov than Tevez when Rooney's in the side, for me Tevez and Rooney are too similar and it's Rooney over Tevez without question.
And i wouldn't call a club that has reached the CL final twice in a row and won 3 league titles in a row a 'lesser' club to a side that has barely scraped through the group stages of the CL in the past few years
