Re: Help connecting V Box to TV

You should have received two cables and a splitter with the box, and a plastic spanner. The splitter has an input on one side and two outputs on the other.

To install it, unscrew the cable from the back of your broadband modem, and connect it to the input side of the splitter. Connect one of the new cables from the output side of the splitter to the modem, and the other cable from the splitter to the TV box.

Make sure the smartcard is in the TV box, chip side downwards, and turn everything on.

But it might be you've done it all correctly, and the box simply needs activating. Give the Quickstart helpline a call to get that done. I think there's number is 0800 953 9500 (but check in the stuff you were sent)
