Although I wanted to, I refrained from using bad language or nastiness as you see above. That is a true and complete transcript leaving nothing out. I truly hope people read these accounts and avoid NewsDemon.com. If they are like this on the initial contact with a new account I can only imagine how terribly they'd treat someone already invested with them.
It was pretty obvious from the transcript that "Owen" was not a native english speaker, NewsDemon claims to be in South Carolina and not even Southerners muss up conjugations and tenses like that so I must assume that they off-shore their tech service to India or China.
Note that my emails to "support@newsdemon.com" have gone unanswered too.
And I'm not a novice, having done sysadmin on various *nix systems and platforms. My workstation is running Ubuntu at the moment, my laptop Red Hat Linux, and my homebrew firewall is a Mini-ITX running OpenBSD with two ethernet ports, one to the cable moden and the other to the LAN.
Being treated so badly has angered me to the point that I've hit all the news server review boards with this story in the hope that newsdemon suffers financially.
