After a bit of fiddling around, I've finally got an HD picture from my V+ box that looks HD. However, I would appreciate if anyone could share their thoughts on:-

Whether there's any advantage in 1080i over 720i?
Whether I should be worried that my Sony Bravia TV seems unable to autodetect the V+ box (although clearly it's receiving an HDMI signal from it!)?
