There seems to be a couple of items out there.
I think one system is called NAS - which seems to be a ready built system (some of 'em are also a bit pricey)

The other is (or was) a WiFi caddy into which you put a normal hdd.

At the time, I needed to get my wired set-up to send/receive wirelessly. As I said, the couple of people that tried to help, said that i need a wireless router/hub, which I now have, connected to my ethernet socket.

I am assuming that this sends / receives the data - wirelessly - to said remote hdd/caddy ?!

I need to be sure b4 I spend my money.
