the problem with F1 is that you have the FIA making up rules the teams don't want so that FOM can take the teams to circuits they don't want to race at. There comes a point where the teams end up saying we want these rules and we want to race in these places and with no say in that asking them to race against two different sets of rules was always going to cause something like this.
