There is absolutely no reason why this is happening and this governments handling of this has been a complete and utter joke. If anyone in the government had a tenth of the honour and integrity of a single ghurka this country would be a lot better off. I suppose we shouldn't expect some of our politicians to recognise the quality of the ghurka's when they don't have any of the same qualities to be familiar with them.
