Yet he still came back. Martin Jol has always said good things about, despite what happened. I can see him coming back when Redknapp retires. No other club comes to mind where so many people seem to like coming back.

Europe is another point. 3 in the semi final 2 years running and almost 2 English teams in the final 2 years running. Any way you look at it, lack of competition just isn't good for the sport or the fans.
