If when I lose connection the sync & ready lights remain permanently on does this actually imply I have a good signal or could it even be a weak one. Would this imply a fault my side of the modem?
I'm beginning to wonder if an intermittent cable fault exists between the cab and my house.
As I show above your modem levels are right in the middle of the range and possibly the issue is on the uBR/exchange that you are connected to and is having issues with the SNR and when this occurs your modem may look to be on but the problem is elsewhere.

Have you called up Tech Support to see if they can give you any answers.
