My OPINION
is that it should be allowed at the start. You have the weight and complexity penalties so you should get all the benefit you can. I like the idea of a boost button and think KERS should be encouraged more than it is.
The flipside.....I really doubt the green credentials of KERS. How much natural resource goes in to the batteries? How easy are they to recycle etc?
I wish Williams would hurry up with their flywheel system.
