Phoned virgin....and the technical folks said they had not been asked to make any changes to my settings and that I was still capped at 1mb
So, got through to customer services, who said they would make the change and that it would take 24-48 hours, and then I should be getting 8Mb. Hopefully they will actually do what they say this time round.*sigh*
