Trying to run data over EME would be interesting. Some of the big guns in the US are running 36ft dishes on 70cms.
You can get 99% reliability over 1200KM with forward ionoscatter on 50MHz. That would be 40-50KW into a 500ft rhombic (18-20dbd). I wonder if I can get a NOV for 40KW
