Glad I do not follow the concensus
as seen in other threads I actually quite like AMD again. I wouldnt recommend them for the top top end but you can save money and still build a powerfull machine using them. I quite like the idea of a Phenom II with a AMD 790 chipset and a 4870 X2 myself
