I've been having some line stability issues recently. A tech visited this afternoon and he said that my levels were fine... but after i kinda whined a bit more
he decided to stick a attenuator(?) thingy on the modem.
The levels before the visit:
Downstream Receive Power Level : 10.8 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 33.4 dB
Upstream transmit Power Level : 36.5 dBmV
The levels AFTER the visit:
Downstream Receive Power Level : 1.7 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 32.8 dB
Upstream transmit Power Level : 41.5 dBmV
I'm on the 20Mb service - are these levels more 'acceptable' ? (from what i've read, the Downstream power is now a lot better, but i'm not sure about the others!)
