Diamond Cable didn't exist when the SB4200 was released and never offered broadband they had been assimilated into ntl: by then.

Perhaps there was a small window there, I was aware of the 3100 but not the 4200 being available on ex-ntl.

Either way the muppet's comments about just getting the modem give the game away and whomever gave him assistance over PM needs a damn fine slap.

Thanks for the information though, I always appreciate correction, saves me getting the same thing wrong twice!
