yeah i read that, at the back of my house u cant see anyone unless they do some serious climbing onto some garages (thats what i think is going on) so to be honest with ya im not caring much about someones rights as they are going out the way to ruin my house

i think teh qnap ones have to use a special qnap storage device, thats what it looked like from the pictures but i will look into it.
Thanks for the links. i think if the camera can FTP the files that will work ok i can setup the NAS as a FTP server (i think it is by default).
