Curiously enough, the Oxford Dictionary definition of preaching is -
• verb
1 deliver a religious address to an assembled group of people.
2 earnestly advocate (a principle).
3 (preach at) give moral advice to (someone) in a self-righteous way.
None of the people with whom you have a "
difference of opinion" has done the first, and you and others of a different opinion have been doing the second, and you (imho) are probably the most guilty of the third.
Ironic, huh?
