Just thought I'd update anyone who cares...
After finaly sorting out my router, two days later I smell a kind of burning, which coincides with my wireless stopping. What had happened? The wires at the bottem of the routers adaptor have frayed, and busted. Talk about sods law. Oh well, brought a new ac power adaptor on ebay for £7.50.
