Windows is telling you it can't configure it because you're using the wireless manager.
Find the wireless manager in the bottom right hand corner beside the time, right click on it and select shutdown, confirm that you're sure.
Then go to add/remove programs and uninstall the wireless manager, windows will then try to connect you to your router.
Did you change it from channel 6?
